Rudder Crack

Parts catalog page. During annual it was discovered that my rudder had cracks in the lower corner near the control horn. It's the unidentified part above the control horn (6), attached to rudder spar (10) and rudder rig (22). As you can see from the parts catalog page, there is not specific number for this part. The mechanic thinks this area is impacted by the rudder stops. A lot of airframe hours and/or being out in the wind could contribute to this, according to him.

Not sure how Williams will work this but he says from his verbal description to them, it's a couple hour fix. He did not feel comfortable doing this himself since he would have to build the part; it’s not listed in the parts catalog.
